Testing
Testing for COVID-19 is an essential tool to slow the spread of the disease.  Get tested when you’re preparing to travel, think you’ve been exposed, feel sick or have symptoms, or just want peace of mind.  It’s important to know for sure so you don’t pass COVID-19 on to others.

Learn more about testing for COVID here: https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-testing

Please note:  Franklin County Public Health no longer collects positive COVID-19 at-home test results, as of 12/15/2022.
It is important to report your positive test result to your health care provider to determine if further evaluation and/or treatment is necessary. If you do not have a health care provider, please contact Community Health Center of the North Country in Malone at 518 483-0109 or Hudson Headwaters Health Network in Tupper Lake (518) 359-7222 or Saranac Lake (518) 891-3845 to find a provider.

People may choose to wear a mask at any time,
(Wearing a mask in indoor public spaces is especially important when the Community Level is High or when people have symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19)

Continue to wash your hands frequently,

Sanitize high touch areas in your home,

Reduce gathering sizes and visit outdoors whenever possible,

If you feel sick, stay home,

If unvaccinated, please get vaccinated!
