ALBANY — State doctors, nurses and health care providers could be stripped of their medical licenses and face fines of up to $1 million if they fraudulently obtain, transfer or distribute the COVID-19 vaccine, Gov. Andrew Cuomo declared in an executive order Monday.

The order was announced Monday as a downstate provider is faced with criminal charges for potentially fraudulently obtaining and administering the COVID-19 vaccine to New Yorkers.

Start with Sandy Cortez, she jumped the line.

The last Cuomo guideline health care workers were "made" to follow cost thousands of seniors lives. He probably should not giving out guidance at all to the medical community.

I don't agree in fact I disagree strenuously you just can't put a penalty on the will to live IMO. It is people who have a million dollars who are going to attempt to bootleg this vaccine. If you can't get a shot you got to stay under cover. In America money rules and in this case its very wrong but not a major crime. Those caught bootlegging will be admonished by flashing their names across media headlines. Shame, shame, shame is good enough.
